St James's Place is a Wealth Management Company who centrally creates lead generation schemes that are then distributed among their Partnership on an as required basis.
Various schemes operate mainly with National newspapers or financial services Web lead generators. The basis is either an advert or editorial piece in a newspaper or on specified Web sites that generate a request for information. The information is normally in a guide form on a specific aspect of financial service like Wealth management, Inheritance Tax Planning, etc.
The data is received daily from the suppliers either from Telephone, Web or mailed responses. This data is process to look for people (prospects or customers) who are already known to SJP and also look for duplicates. For people who match know contacts of SJP these people are sent a guide with a general thank you letter and then the partner contact is then notified that that person has requested a certain type of guide. Where there is a duplicate the person is sent a guide with the general thank you letter.
Where no match is found to a known SJP contact the data goes into an allocation process where all the data is allocated to Partner who require new contacts. Partners can pick their preferred geographical areas by postcode, they can pick the type of publication they require and the monthly volume of leads they want. Once the allocation is complete the guides are sent to the people who requested the information with a personalised thank you letter with the allocated partners contact details. Partners are then informed of the leads by a encrypted Web portal for maximum security.
Management information is then supplied about how many leads there where, how many got allocated, etc.
